Heather Smallwood strives to build trusting relationships with patients by attentively listening to their needs. She serves as an advisor for her patients to help create overall healthier lifestyles. She has a particular passion for women’s health. Heather has been working with Platte River Medical Clinic for over 4 years.
Heather completed her undergraduate degree in Biomedical Sciences at Colorado State University. She spent two months volunteering at a hospital in Tanzania, Africa, and then went on to complete the physician associate program at South University in Tampa, Florida.
She was born and raised in beautiful Colorado and loves anything that involves the mountains, including hiking, biking, and skiing.
